Description

The Optris PI 450i Condition Monitoring Kit provides all elements required for an outdoor thermal monitoring/imaging system in various harsh environments. This package is built around the PI 450i infrared camera, with 382 x 288 pixel resolution, a measuring range from -20 to 900°C (with subranges), and a thermal sensitivity of 40 mK. the PI 450i is available with four different lens configurations, all interchangeable. This versatile camera is designed to detect the smallest changes in thermal readings, perfect for early fire detection and other condition monitoring applications. This is paired with a high-definition visual camera with 1280 x 720 pixel resolution, 30Hz frame rate and 65° FOV, providing high quality visual monitoring on top of thermal imaging.

Protection from the elements comes in the form of a durable aluminum housing structure that seamlessly integrates both the IR and visual cameras. The IP66 rating of this structure means that internal components are protected from damage due to dust and humidity. To further expand the range and adaptability of this kit, the housing also incorporates electric heating that automatically turns on when temperatures dip below 15°C, and is evenly distributed by an inbuilt fan. This heating feature permits use of this monitoring system in temperatures as low as -40°C, with a maximum range of 60°C. This system also includes license-free access to PIX Connect Thermography Software, which allows for in-depth analysis of thermal readings, hands-free adjustment of camera parameters and testing.

This unit is also compatible with the following Optris products:

  • DewesoftX: Data acquisition and signal processing software.
