Description

The Sixth Sense ZF210C infrared sensor is a compact, small and robust sensor providing non-contact temperature measurement of non-metallic objects from 0 to 400°C (32 to 752°F). Installation and connection of Sixth Sense IR sensors is simple thanks to the 2-wire design. The ZF210C infrared sensor has spectral range of 8 - 14 µm, distance to spot ratio of 12:1, a 4-20mA linear current output, 0.95 fixed emissivity and 300ms response time. The stainless steel tube housing gives the sensor an IP 65 (splash-proof) enclosure rating.

Typical applications of the Sixth Sense ZF210C stationary infrared sensor include:

  • Plastics
  • Rubber
  • Paper
  • Ceramics
  • Textiles
  • Fluids
  • Painted parts
  • Asphalt
  • Wood
  • Food
