The FLIR i5 is fully automatic and measures temperatures from -4 to 482°F with an accuracy of ±2°C or ±2% of reading. The cameras creates a visualization of heat differences to help you detect abnormally hot or cold areas. In many instances equipment failure is preceded by a period of increasing heat. The i5 quickly scans and identifies problem areas helping to avoid electrical and mechanical failures. The i5 is also sensitive enough to locate water damage sources, and find missing insulation and leaky air ducts.
