The Optris CTlaser P7 infrared sensor has a 7.9µm spectral range for measuring temperatures during the production of thin plastic materials such as foils made of polyurethane, polyether sulfone, polyethylene terephthalate, Teflon, or cellulose triacetate. It is also ideal for precise temperature measurements on glass surfaces. Its dual laser aim marks the exact spot location and size from 1.6mm at any distance. The CTlaser P7 has a temperature range of 32 to 1310°F and can function in temperatures up to 185°F without additional cooling.
Selectable analog outputs and multiple digital interfaces offer high variability. The CTlaser P7 features peak hold, valley hold, average, and an extended hold function with threshold and hysteresis, all field configurable with the USB programming kit (ACCTUSBK). Field selectable analog output options include: 0/4-20mA, 0-5 and 0-10 V, type K or J thermocouples, and alarm. Optional USB, RS485, RS232 interface, 2 optically isolated relay outputs, CAN-Bus, Profibus DP, and Ethernet available with plug-in options.
The Optris Compact Connect temperature analysis software is available as a free download and is necessary to document and analyze temperature measurement data. It is compatible with all netbooks, notebooks, and PC systems via Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 and 8.
