Description
COSA Xentaur LPDT2 Dew Point Transmitter is an ultra-compact, loop-powered dew point transmitter available with or without a display. The LPDT2 is designed to offer users more control and higher accuracy when measuring dew point temperature in industrial applications. This versatile transmitter can be used to measure the moisture content of various gases and liquids, including natural gas, compressed air, hydrogen, nitrogen, and more.
LPDT2 with display is a fully functional instrument operated through a miniature custom LCD display and four push buttons, using the same user-friendly interface as COSA hygrometers. It enables users to view, select, and set options at the transmitter. LPDT2 with no display provides reliability to users without the additional expense of on-board transmitter control. Both LPDT2 transmitters feature Modbus 485 digital and 4-20mA analog outputs to provide a simple solution with highly accurate results.
With it’s thin-film capacitive polymer sensor, LPDT2 provides accurate and stable measurements of dew point temperature to indicate moisture content. The polymer sensor is highly resistant to contamination from oils, fuels, and other substances that can interfere with measurements. The sensor is highly stable and reliable, with a long lifespan and low maintenance requirements.
Applications include:
- Glove boxes
- Air generators
- Hydrogen Service
- Cryogenic applications
- Hydrocarbon processing
