Description
The mica barrel and nozzle heater has long been the standard in band heating. Watlow has been refining the standard mica barrel and nozzle heater for over 80 years resulting in the Watlow Special Mica Barrel and Nozzle Heater. This Watlow band heater combines the simple, effective design of the standard mica barrel and nozzle heater and infuses it with Watlow's technological advances.
The Watlow Mica Barrel and Nozzle Heater is capable of generating sheath temperatures up to 480°C (900°F) with watt densities to 55 W/in2 (8.5 W/cm2). Watlow's patented clamping strap simplifies installation and assures efficient heat transfer.
