Ametek MGC Series Marine Gauge Calibrators

The Ametek MGC series is a flexible pressure calibration system that combines quality mechanical gauges and hydraulic pumps to calibrate pressure gauges and indicators in marine applications.

Calibrations are easy to perform with the MGC system. Simply connect the reference gauge and the unit-under-test to the hydraulic pump and perform the calibration. The gauges are easy to read and the hydraulic pump rapidly produces the required testing pressure. The reference gauges provide the user with a clear indication of pressure for comparison to the system instrument. The operator can then identify the extent of any error making it possible to compensate for or note the error and thereby only replace faulty pressure indicators.

The Ametek MGC series is available in two configurations. The MGC-LOW consists of 2 or 3 precision pressure gauges with ±1% F.S. accuracy and a hydraulic hand pump fitted with hose, valve and couplings. The MGC-HIGH consists of 3 or 4 dual-scaled precision pressure gauges with ±0.6% F.S. accuracy and a hydraulic jack pump fitted with hose, valve and couplings. Both systems have pressure ranges to 300 bar and include marine-grade pressure gauges dual-scaled in bar & kg/cm².
