Description
The Dakota NDT ZX1 fixed velocity thickness gauge is a basic dual element thickness gauge with the ability to locate blind surface pitting and internal defects and flaws in materials. The ZX1 is capable of measuring the thickness of various materials with accuracy as high as ±0.001 inches (±0.01 millimeters). It is pre-calibrated to measure steel, allowing the inspector to simply take the gauge out of the box and measure. Calibration is done by simply scrolling to a known material velocity.
The ZX1 was designed and built to withstand the roughest industry conditions, and it is backed by a 5-year limited warranty. Custom transducers are available for special applications.
