Description
The Dakota NDT ZX5-DL thickness gauge and data logger is a basic dual element thickness gauge with the ability to locate blind surface pitting and internal defects and flaws in materials. The ZX5-DL is capable of measuring the thickness of various materials with accuracy as high as ±0.001 inches (±0.01 millimeters).
The High Speed Scan feature of the ZX5-DL increases the overall repetition rate to a maximum of 140Hz with a high speed screen refresh rate of 25 times a second. This allows for making scanned passes over an arbitrary length of the test material, while still maintaining a reasonable representation of thickness over the area or region scanned.
The ZX5-DL has an on-board data logger that stores 10,000 readings in 40 files of 250 readings per file.
