Description

The Megger PVK350 Solar Test Kit offers a complete package of instrumentation to meet the varied requirements of photovoltaic installation. The PVM210 irradiance meter is a pocket sized solar detector that provides fast, accurate readings of solar power. It is ideal for choosing the optimum position for solar panel installation. It's compact design is easy to handle on a sloping roof or at the top of a ladder. You can also use the PVM210 measurements to calculate short circuit current when used with an ammeter to verify the stated short circuit current provided by the manufacturer of the solar panel.

The included DCM1500S digital clampmeter measures AC/DC current, AC/DC voltage, resistance, and frequency. This meter enables you to test the current of a larger solar panel array without disconnecting cables. The min/max and peak-hold enable maximum load currents from equipment to be identified such as start-up currents to motors and heaters.
