The Yokogawa CA12E Temperature Calibrator is capable of both signal source and measurement functions.
These calibrators are great for use in the field because they are lightweight and highly portable; they are
about the same size and weight as a handheld digital multimeter. They are simple-to-use, equipped with a
7-segment LCD display with four up/down keys. The Optional accessories are available to keep your calibrator
safe in the field; pick a hard case or a protective rubber boot, a strap, and an accessory case.
The Yokogawa CA12E has an output equivalent to ten types of thermocouples: K, E, J,
T, N, R, U, L, B, and S as well as Pt100 resistance temperature detector. (The former Pt100 standard, JPt100, is
also selectable by an internal dip switch.)
The CA12E is suitable for a broad range of applications such as maintenance
of industrial process instruments and various thermometers. With a three-wire RTD connection, the
CA12E can also be used as a precision, multi-range thermometer. It Features a built-in
sensor for reference junction compensation and has a terminal adapter which provides screw terminals
for connecting a temperature sensor such as a thermocouple and RTD when measuring temperature.
