Description
The Seametrics MJ Series pulse water meter is a contacting head water meter which utilizes the multi-jet principle, an internationally-accepted standard for many years. Multi-jet flow meters utilize an impeller which is centered in a ring of jets, with inlet jets on one level and outlet jets on another. This type of meter is known for its wide range, simplicity, and accuracy in low-quality water.
The Seametrics MJ Series pulse water meter is available in sizes ranging from 3/4 to 2 inch. The Seametrics MJ Series pulse water meter is available with flow ranges from 0.22 to 132 gpm (depending upon meter size) with an accuracy of 1-1/2% of reading.
The Seametrics MJ Series pulse water meter is available with a totalizer or pulse outputs. Pulse outputs are either a solid-state, long-lasting Hall-effect sensor, which requires power or a two-wire reed switch which provides a dry contact closure and does not require power. Pulse rates are factory-set to customer specifications but can easily be changed in the field without special tools.
