The Megger BVM150 battery voltage system is a system of 16 BVM units. Designed for an accurate measurement of cell and block voltages in industrial battery banks. This system supports up to 242 units connected in a daisy-chain configuration, offering scalability for testing both small and large battery systems. The BVM150 is compatible with load devices such as the Megger TORKEL and data management software, for example PowerDB and TORKEL Win. The BVM enables automated capacity testing according to IEC, IEEE, NERC, and FERC standards.
Each BVM150 unit is compact, lightweight, and interchangeable, allowing for quick and flexible setup. The "Auto Discovery" feature ensures seamless integration by automatically identifying the number of connected batteries and assigning sequential IDs for easy monitoring. The BVM150 system supports a voltage range of 0–20 VDC with 1mV resolution and a maximum string voltage of 300VDC per loop. It operates efficiently in demanding environments, including power substations, telecom infrastructure, and UPS systems.
Designed for durability and accuracy, the BVM150 system complies with CE-marking such as LVD, RoHS, and EMC standards, and operates in temperatures ranging from 41 to 122°F. The included accessories, such as dolphin clips and interchangeable banana plug clamps, provide compatibility with various battery connection requirements. The robust design ensures reliable performance in challenging conditions.
