The Extech EX845 clamp meter & IR thermometer is a CAT IV 1000A True RMS clamp-on multimeter that features a built-in
infrared thermometer with a laser pointer. Ideal for industrial applications, the EX845 is capable of accurate
electrical measurements of AC current, DC current, AC/DC voltage, resistance, capacitance, and frequency. The ES845
takes temperature measurements via Type-K probe or infrared.
The Extech EX845 features a Bluetooth transmitter with MeterLink that wirelessly transmits voltage and current readings
to select FLIR thermal imaging cameras (b60, i60, B-Series and T-Series) to incorporate meter readings with thermal
images.
The EX845 features 1.7" jaws, large enough for cables up to 750MCM (or two 500 MCM cables). The rugged, ergonomically
designed double-molded housing offers a better grip for one-hand operation and results are shown on the backlit, 4000
count dual LCD display.
Additional features of the Extech EX845 clamp meter include: diode test, autoranging with manual range button, Data
Hold, Min/Max, Auto Power Off, and Peak Hold that captures inrush currents and transients.
The Extech EX845 clamp meter & IR thermometer comes with a professional test lead set that includes:
- (2) 42" (1m) PVC lead extensions w/shrouded banana plugs at both ends
- (2) Modular 4" (102mm) heavy duty test probe handles w/0.16" (4mm) banana plug tip
- (2) Standard size alligator clips w/ insulated rubber boot
- (2) Extra large, double-insulated, alligator clips w/ sharp teeth for piercing insulated wire. Jaws open to 0.8" (20mm)
