The Ametek HPC400 handheld pressure calibrator is a true field instrument designed for easy and reliable pressure checking
and calibration. The HPC400 Series is suited for process control applications such as verification
or calibration of pressure gauges, transducers, transmitters, pressure switches and safety valves.
The high-quality and user friendly features of the HPC400 make calibration tasks easy to perform. All relevant
information is shown on a large, multi-line graphical display. This includes 15 different pressure units, transmitter
mA reading with 24 VDC supply onboard, min/max and peak recording, and semiautomatic pressure switch test. Opening
and closing pressures are automatically recorded and deadband calculated.
The Ametek HPC400 is available in three pressure ranges: vacuum to 2 bar / 30 psi (HPC400-2C); vacuum to 7 bar / 100 psi
(HPC400-7C); and vacuum to 20 bar / 300 psi (HPC400-20C). There are five user specific setups available for frequently
used measurement/ calibration applications. Maintenance of the HPC400 is easy. Recalibration of the unit can be
performed locally with an accurate pressure reference. Pump and calibrator are separate, so replacement of the pump
does not require return of the complete system for repair.
The rugged HPC400 pressure calibrator has a large backlit graphical display a user friendly menu with icons that show
current status and mode and one, two or three measurement windows to suit specific applications or needs. A dedicated
zero test button to provide convenient zero before test helps ensure accuracy.
The Ametek HPC400 ships complete with calibrator, batteries, adaptors (1/4" NPT male from 1/8" BSP male and 1/4" BSP
female from 1/8" BSP male), test leads, hand strap with clip manual, and NIST traceable calibration certificate. The
HPC400 is also available as a complete calibration system which also includes a hand pump with hose and connectors,
teflon tape and a protective carrying case.
