The Fluke 179/61 industrial multimeter and infrared thermometer combo kit is highlighted by the Fluke 179 True RMS

Fluke 179 True RMS Multimeter
The Fluke 179 True RMS multimeter features a 6000 count digital display that updates 4 x second. Data can also be
displayed in analog bargraph format which includes 33 segments and updates 40 x second. The backlight display
automatically turns off after 2 minutes of inactivity to save battery life. The HOLD function freezes the display and
the AUTO HOLD displays the present reading until a new reading is detected.
Fluke 179 True RMS multimeters have a manual or autoranging mode. While in auto range the meter selects the range with
the best resolution for the present measurement value. Other features of the Fluke 179 include fast continuity/open
detection, test lead alerts, power-up options, probe holders and a high-impact overmold case.
Fluke 61 Infrared Thermometer
Fluke 61 infrared thermometers have a temperature range from 0 to 525°F (-18 to 275°C), resolution of
0.5°F (0.2°C), 8:1 distance to spot ratio, and fixed emissivity at 0.95. Accuracy is ±2% of the reading at a
temperature range of 30 to 525°F (-1 to 275°C) and repeatability is ±2% of the reading or 3.5°F (2°C) whichever
is greater. This instrument continues the Fluke tradition of providing rugged and reliable test tools.
The Fluke 61 includes a bright laser beam which provides easy object targeting. The backlit display illuminates the
screen for clear viewing even in dimly lit locations. The alkaline batteries typically provide 4000 measurements and
the battery life is extended with the automatic sleep mode after 7 seconds of non-use.
