The DR5000 is the first recorder to "self document" setup configuration. This is accomplished by utilizing a setup chart providing the user with an "on the spot" manual providing detailed configuration instructions and documents the current setup for quick review by an operator.

Using these unique setup charts, users can set or alter operating parameters to fit their requirements. Input type, range, scales, alarms and time are all configurable by the user. A typical recorder setup takes less than 5 minutes and does not require the reference manual to complete.
