The Badger Meter 7500 series flow meter combines advanced electromagnetic flow detection with a simple scaled pulse
output capability to meet the demands of a wide range of industrial batch applications. Electromagnetic flow meters
have inherent advantages over other flow technologies and can accurately meter liquids that are highly corrosive,
very viscous, contain a moderate amount of solids or require special handling making them the ideal choice for the
most demanding applications including industrial liquids, food and beverage, pharmaceutical, and chemical batching.
The Badger Meter 7500 series is available in 1/2", 1", 2", 3" and 4" sizes. Featuring a straight through flow design
with no moving parts, no pressure loss and low maintenance, the 7500 series is accurate to ±0.5% of reading with
±0.2% repeatability. The meter is available in two versions. The 7500P is the standard version while the 7500S is
a sanitary version.
The Badger Meter 7500P was specifically designed to meet the demands of the most rigorous applications—including
concrete applications. The open meter design eliminates water hammer damage and pressure loss. Since there are no
moving parts, this flow meter is even suited for wash-out applications. The amplifier easily connects to your existing
plant control system. The 7500P is California type approved for water batching and reclaim water metering. The
7500P includes ANSI flanges, a PTFE liner, Alloy C electrodes, meter mounted amplifier and a set of 316 stainless
steel grounding/protective rings.
The Badger Meter 7500S is intended for use in fluid metering applications for process batching where approved
sanitary equipment is required. The meter is suitable for most industrial sanitary applications such
as food, beverage and pharmaceutical; handling fluids such as milk, beer, pastes, syrups; and many other hard to
measure fluids. The 7500S includes a PTFE liner, Alloy C electrodes, Tri-clamp style fittings and meter mounted
stainless steel amplifier.
