Description
The Additel ADT 901B, formerly Additel ADT 901A, Low Pressure Test Pump is a hand-operated pressure pump designed to generate pressures from -6 psi (-0.4 bar) to 6 psi (0.4 bar). A high-quality screw press is designed for fine pressure adjustment, with an adjustment resolution up to 0.01 Pa (0.0001 mbar). To reach the pressure as stable as possible during micro-pressure calibrations, an isothermal bellows chamber is designed for reducing the possible heat effects caused by environmental temperature change. Without a non-returning valve that is usually used on troublesome hand pumps, the ADT 901B requires minimal maintenance. Two hand-tight connectors installed on the pump allow easy connecting and disconnecting to the test pump without the need for PTFE tape or wrenches. The ADT 901B is an ideal comparison test pump for low pressure applications.

Generating Very Low Pressures For Calibrations
The Background: Our customer, a pharmaceuticals company, needs a solution for calibrating very low pressure transmitters used for room pressure monitoring.
The Problem: The main hurdle is finding a solution capable of generating such small pressures, in the range of just 1/2 inch of water column, that doesn't cost a small fortune.
The Solution: We recommended the Additel ADT901 low pressure test pump which is designed to generate pressures from -6 to 6 psi, the Additel ADT 672 digital pressure calibrators a test gauge capable of measuring these very low pressures as well as providing a power source for the transmitters. The Additel ADT-901-KIT test kit provides all the connections necessary. This provides a highly accurate solution for calibrating low pressure transmitters.
