Description
The Fluke 709 / 709H loop calibrators are precision instruments that offer best in class accuracy. Designed to save time and produce high quality results, these calibrators are built around a user friendly interface with dedicated buttons and a quick-set rotary encoder knob. This combination dramatically reduces the time it takes to measure voltage, source or loop. The rugged case is contoured to easily fit a technician's hand and the large backlit graphics display is easy to read, even in dark, cramped worked areas.
With an accuracy of 0.01%, the Fluke 709 and 709H performs basic functions such as: mA source, mA simulate, mA read, mA read/loop power, and volts read. The milliamp range is 0 to 24 mA while voltage range is 0 to 30 V dc. Results are shown on the large, easy-to-read display with backlight and contrast adjust.
The Fluke 709H adds HART communications and supports a select set of the HART universal and common practice commands. This makes the 709H unique as both an affordable, compact loop calibrator and powerful HART communication tool. In the communicator mode, the user will be able to read basic device information, perform diagnostic tests, and perform output trim on most HART enabled transmitters. The 709H also has the ability to store up to 20 HART device configurations and data log or record data on the loop.
