Description
The E+H RLN22 NAMUR Isolating Amplifier provides transmission and galvanic 3-way isolation of binary switch signals. A fully isolated second channel is available, with NAMUR standard inputs for proximity sensors or point level switches (such as Liquiphant FTL51B). Direction of action is controlled via the inbuilt DIP switch, streamlining operation of the unit. The DC interface allows for monitoring for circuit faults or mechanical switching contacts. If a fault is detected the relay automatically de-energizes to return the output to a non-conducting state for maximum process safety. Optional certifications include approvals for Zone 2 hazardous areas, and safety instrumented systems up to SIL 2. The RLN22 can be installed in vertical and horizontal orientations, with a compact, 12.5mm polycarbonate housing greatly reducing space requirements. Additional options include a secondary power supply and group error message via DIN rail bust connector.
