Description

The E+H EngyCal RS33 BTU Meter records steam mass and energy flow rates of both saturated and superheated steam. These values are calculated according to international steam tables, utilizing the The IAPWS IF97 formulation. The RS33 offers compensation for differential pressure flow measurement, and standard models are compatible with all common flow transmitters, temperature and pressure sensors. Electronic alignment with associated sensors is available, and with the arithmetic unit allows for highly accurate temperature readings.

Historical data is well documented, with a logbook of current/counter values, error messages, off-limit conditions and operating parameter adjustments. A deficit counter is inbuilt for transparency in the case of an error or alarm, and an optional tariff counter is available for requirements-based billing purposes. Comprehensive data analysis is available via Field Data Manager Software MS201 (SQL database and visualization interface). 

The RS33 housing design is industry-compliant for field, wall, panel or DIN rail mount configurations. Each unit comes with a 70x34mm LCD display with backlit color change in the event an alarm is triggered. Remote monitoring is easy to utilize through Ethernet and/or optional fieldbus-compatible configurations.
