The KPSI 27 Series pressure transducers are non-submersible transducers that include UL and CUL approvals. The FM intrinsic safety approval standard is included for all versions except those with output 4-20 mA, temperature option. The transducers are specifically designed for demanding industrial applications where the primary criteria are reliability and economy. These units provide repeatable, precision measurements under the most hostile conditions. Capable of measuring vacuum to pressure as high as 200 psi, these transducers can meet most any industrial pressure measurement requirement.

Hydrostatic Oil Level

The Background: Our customer is an industrial facility with multiple large machines involved in the manufacturing process. They seek a means of measuring the hydrostatic level in a lubrication oil reservoir.

The Problem: The customer has large machines that are utilize a lubrication oil reservoir. Maintain oil level is crucial to keeping these machines running trouble-free.

The Solution: We recommended KPSI 28 pressure transducers with a temperature output to also monitor oil temperature. The KPSI 28 will accurately monitor levels in the reservoir while the temperature output will provide warning of rising oil temperature which will alert the user of impending mechanical failure allowing them to take the necessary steps to prevent a catastrophic system failure and address the problem at hand.
