Here's how some of our customers use this product...
Treatment Plant Retrofit
The Background: Our customer is an automation company working on a project at a wastewater treatment plant which requires the replacement of an older ultrasonic level sensor.
The Problem: The application is a wet well for a lift station. A pressure sensor inside the wet well is used for primary measurement, with the current ultrasonic level sensor used as secondary confirmation. It’s important to have two readings because overflow/leakage would be a violation of the operating permit for the treatment plant resulting in fines.
The Solution: The customer chose the APG LPU-2127, a US-made ultrasonic level sensor which has the reliability, range and accuracy for the application while offering Class 1, Div 1 certification.
