The Optris CT 1M / 2M infrared temperature sensor is designed for the high-temperature measurements of metals, metal oxides, and ceramics. It has a short measuring wavelength to decrease errors. The sensing head is only 0.6 inches in diameter and 1.1 inches long to fit in tight spaces.

Selectable analog outputs and multiple digital interfaces offer high variability. Field selectable analog outputs options include 0/4-20mA, 0-5 and 0-10 V, type K or J thermocouples, and alarm. The Optris CT 1M / 2M includes a programmable functional input for setting external emissivity, ambient temperature compensation, and reset of hold functions. It also features peak hold, valley hold, average, and an extended hold function with threshold and hysteresis. USB, RS485, RS232 interface, 2 optically isolated relay outputs, CAN-Bus, Profibus DP, and Ethernet available with plug-in options.

The Optris Compact Connect temperature analysis software is available as a free download and is necessary to document and analyze temperature measurement data. It is compatible with all netbooks, notebooks, and PC systems via Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 and 8.
